THREE COMMON FACTORS RELATED WITH DYSMENORRHEA

Hello friends. Thanks for the great responce to my blogs.  Last time we had seen what happens in body when menstruation appears and what from ayurveda we can do to reduce  pain during menstruations. Now as i mentioned in my first article, painful menstruations or DYSMENORRHEA is a problem mostly found in AFFLUENT SOCIETY.

If we compare  present day's woman with past day's ,that is our grandmother or even mother's age woman, then we will find that past day's women are more healthier than today's. And they have less gynaecological and obstratic problems and also they were very easy with their menstrual cycles, even after having more than two three children. So what made them easy with that wet days and what's wrong with women of this erra? When this question came to my mind  ,I started observing all my dysmenorrhea patients closely.Though almost all of them  got cured by ayurvedic treatments mentioned in my first article about menstruation, but still I wanted to know , what common factors are there in all patients. And I got these three common points.....

1)POOR QUANTITY AND POOR QUALITY DIET

2)NEVER EXERCISE AND OVER EXERCISE

3)WRONG INTERPRETATION AND MISGUIDANCE  OF OUR MEDIA.

Let's see these points one by one.

1)POOR QUANTITY AND POOR QUALITY DIET-

Now a days women became so much health conscious, figure conscious, diet conscious etc. But  this over consciousness make them to do excessive dieting.Which made  them zero figured but  affected their health. They are just unable to get least needed nutrition, became anaemic which then leads to scanty menses and dysmenorrhea. Its good to be a conscious one, but you must take a healthy comprehensive and enough quantity food.Human body is not a machine to add everything in stomach after measuring on calorimeter. According to ayurveda your food should be such a comprehensive one which can nourish all dhatus of body .Vice versa, over  eating of fast foods ,so much hoteling ,so much eating of oily spicy food can lead to the same problem. This kind of food has hardly nutritive values which lead to fattyness and still anaemia. So both these conditions can lead you to gynaecological and obstratic problems. As these crazy eating habits are more common in affluent societies so these feminine problems are also common in that society.

2)EXERCISE-

This is quite interesting point.Do you people remember FU YAUNHUI.....a star swimmer of china, who got media's attention in rio Olympics 2016 when she declared that she was in her menstrual bleeding period at the time of swimming for relay race, which made her unable to swim with full energy and  team lost olympic medal because of her.She said that she had intense pain in lower abdomen at the time of race which made her unable to give her 100% though she tried her best.

What  this incidence is suggestive of ?Yes this incidence points towards over exercises during menses which lead to dysmenorrhea and some other gynaecological and obstratic problems too.In some religions it is still in practice to keep women isolated in her wet days.Offcourse this is a religious thinking but why these religions established? There might be a scientific view of keeping ladies away from over exertion during that delicate days.Because our ascendibles  know that these days are not for excessive work loads.Women should give rest to their lower abdomen in these days, so that the rhythm of uterine contractions should not get disturbed and all debris can be easily expelled out.Nowadays,it is just impossible to keep ladies isolated as they are part of many important fields of market , corporate world, government jobs and many more. But still ladies, you should avoid over exertion in these particular days because nothing is more important than you and your health!

Again here is one vice versa rule.Just like over exercise , lack of exercise can also lead to dysmenorrea.Yes ,no excercise at all to your lower abdomen can make it rigid. It will loss its flexibility or in other words if you shows laziness then your pelvic and uterine muscles will also become lazy. As a result they will loss their rythm. Its not so long that there were no vaccume cleaners, no washing machines ,no mixers grinders, also no kitchen and dining tabels. All women used to clean houses with brooms, wash cloths with hands ,grind with hands too and cook food in sitting postures and have a meal in sitting postures too. Thus they bend ,mould there abdomen many times a day making it more flexible and offcourse healthy.Do we ever realise that our well equipped and well furnished houses not allowing us to bend at all.Well I am not saying that we should not use all these equipments. But atleast we should do yoga for our own health.Yoga will stretch ,bend and mould your muscels in proper way.Kapalbhati, anulom vilom  pranayam ,wajrasan, sarwangasan and many other options you have. And after doing this regularly ,you will realise that menstruation is how easy to deal with!!

3)MISGUIDANCE OF MEDIA-

This point is quiet controversial.Do our social media misguiding or misleading women?Well I will say yes!Saying to keep women away from hectic jobs in menstruating days is just an unhumenly thing or its against human rights or it is an insult of women's power,or super power according to media and so called women rights NGOS and all!! Also we see adds of sanitari napkins showing that just after using napkins ,girl can jump, climb ,run and can do much more!!What is this friends? It is very obivious that this will definetly harm your reproductive system. So please please stop all this nonsense and do differentiation between your rights, your needs and your freedom.Freedom to work, as well as to rest!!

So friends these all are do's and dont's to avoid your monthly painful periods, which i find in my practice. All these points are very very important for your gynacological health.so always give time to yourself and take care of yourself because you ladies are very precious creativities of god!!!

WHAT IS MENOPAUSE It is the point at which ovaries stop their function of producing ova and stop release of female harmones estrogen and progesterone. In simple words it means woman can no longer become pregnant .It is said that woman reached to her menopause when she miss her 12 consecutive menstrual cycles. And also she feels somewhat signs of menopausal syndrome. Basically all signs and symptoms are directly related with decline in estrogen harmone. And all these signs and symptoms starts at premenopausal or menopausal transition phase. This is the phase when women gradually moves towards complete stoppage of menstruations.
